6.7 Examples

In this section, we show some Houghton cameras realized with the notebook Houghton camera and their spot diagrams. In all of the examples the corrector has a diameter of 200 mm.

We start with a Houghton camera of the first type with a primary mirror of speed f / 4. The notebook Houghton camera then gives

whereas the distance between corrector and primary mirror is 600 mm. The spot diagram on a sphere of mm. and for a view angle of 1.3, is given in Figure 6.16.
